American Online High School
You can enrol in the American Online High School Program at JDJ International Open School and start learning any month of the year, regardless of where you live. Students have access to learning materials 24/7. Thanks to asynchronous learning and formative assessment methods, our students work at their own pace (within certain timeframes for completing the courses). They can progress faster and free up more time that can be spent on their passions and interests such as sports, arts, music, etc.
Students communicate with teachers and access learning materials such as e-textbooks, quizzes, videos, audio materials, computer games, assignments etc., via a school platform, which is accessible from a computer, tablet or smartphone provided that there is high-speed internet access. Teacher-student communication happens one-on-one via online consultations by email, chat, telephone or vide-calls to address any areas of concern. Students interact with peers through groups of interest, virtual chat rooms of school clubs, and student associations.
Thanks to the accreditation of our U.S. curriculum provider, JDJ graduates receive American High School Diplomas accredited by Cognia (formerly AdvancEd). To earn this diploma, which is recognized by top colleges, universities, and employers worldwide, students must successfully complete all courses that adhere to rigorous academic standards. Additionally, JDJ students have the opportunity to enroll in NCAA-approved courses, enabling them to apply for sports scholarships at American colleges and universities.
