The role of the JDJ Educational Mentor is to provide personalized guidance and support throughout the student’s learning journey:

  • Help design flexible learning schedules tailored to student goals and interests

JDJ Edu Mentors

Wojciech Krawczyk

Wojciech is an expert in translation, intercultural communication, language teaching and mentoring, with over 20 years of practical experience. He holds MAs in English and Spanish and a PhD in applied linguistics focused on pragmatics, discourse analysis and multicultural communication. His career includes teaching in preschools and private language schools, as well as academic roles at Adam Mickiewicz University and the University of Warsaw, where he worked as a lecturer, researcher, associate professor and enrolment officer. His strong interest in psychology, pedagogy and diversity, combined with empathy, strategic thinking and a positive attitude, makes him a reliable guide for students seeking educational or career support in complex learning environments.

Nesh Brzeska

Nesh, originally from Poland, has spent most of her life abroad. She is an experienced educator and coach with a B.A. in Anthropology and International Relations (USA) and an M.A. in Comparative Education (UK). She also holds the rare Pass A CELTA – the highest distinction in English language teaching. For 17 years, she taught English at a French middle/high school in the Democratic Republic of Congo, working with students from diverse backgrounds. Alongside her teaching career, she has practiced Eastern-based therapeutic techniques, helping young people and adults build confidence and resilience. Today, Nesh combines her expertise in education with a holistic approach to personal development. She focuses not only on academic progress but also on students’ emotional and mental wellbeing. Parents value her because she offers more than teaching – she helps children thrive, both in school and in life

Matylda Kajdrowicz

Matylda is an Edu Mentor and a graduate of JDJ IOS American high school and had experience in both online and on-campus education. She is currently studying International Communication at Hanze University and collaborating with JDJ in marketing. She is well-acquainted with the US system, including AP and SAT exams, in which she achieved high scores. As an alumni of JDJ, Matylda shares first-hand experience with students and supports them on university applications in Europe, exam registration, and preparation for SAT and AP.

Natalia Zięba

Natalia is an Edu Mentor and a graduate of the American High School Program at JDJ IOS. She is currently studying Management at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków with a focus on business, international relations and marketing. Natalia is passionate about sports – dance, horse riding and tennis – as well as artistic pursuits in acting and directing. She provides mentoring support to JDJ IOS students on a part-time basis.

Maja Kraśnicka

Maja is an Edu Mentor based in London with strong international experience and a graduate of Newcastle University (Chinese and Cultural Studies) and the University of Leeds Business School, where she completed a Master’s in Corporate Communications, Marketing and PR with the prestigious Master’s in Marketing Global Scholarship. She gained mentoring experience at Leeds and through a reverse mentoring programme on diversity and inclusion at Nest. Today she supports Polish students preparing for studies abroad – from reviewing universities and entry requirements to planning successful applications.

Karolina Silcer

Karolina is an Edu Mentor with degrees in Polish and English philology, IELTS certification, and British Council training. With nearly six years of experience and a background in running her own language school, she combines strong academic guidance with exceptional motivation and organization. She helps students build confidence, stay on track, and successfully prepare for international education and future careers through personalized, supportive mentoring.
