Who are educational mentors?

JDJ IOS Educational Mentors accompany students at every stage of their studies – from planning their schedule, through monitoring their progress, to supporting them in choosing studies abroad. Their role is not limited to motivating and helping with learning; it also includes building an individual development path tailored to the student’s passions and goals.

The role of a JDJ Educational Mentor includes, among others:

  • motivating students to complete the foreign high school program on-line,
  • monitoring learning progress and providing feedback,
  • verifying the timeliness and completeness of tasks performed (Assignments and Assessments),
  • mediating in contacts with teachers and staff of a foreign school in the event of difficulties in understanding the issues discussed during lessons or other significant problems,
  • support in creating a personalized schedule of classes and lessons to optimize the benefits of the on-line learning process at a foreign high school, including the selection of electives in line with the student’s future educational and professional plans,
  • assistance in choosing foreign universities and in the application process.

Mentor Wojciech Krawczyk

Wojciech Krawczyk

Wojciech is an educational mentor and an expert in translation and intercultural communication with over 20 years of experience in teaching foreign languages. He holds master’s degrees in English and Spanish Philologies and a PhD in Applied Linguistics, specializing in pragmatics, discourse analysis, and multicultural communication. His professional career includes work in kindergartens, private language schools, Adam Mickiewicz University and the University of Warsaw, where he served as a lecturer, researcher, and assistant professor. His interests in psychology, pedagogy and diversity, combined with empathy, make him an effective guide to students seeking support in their educational or career planning.

Nesh Brzeska

Polish by origin, she spent most of her life abroad. She is an experienced educator and coach, holding a BA in Anthropology and International Relations (USA) and an MA in Comparative Education (UK). She also holds the rare distinction of Pass A CELTA – the highest rating in English language teaching. She taught English at a French high school in the Democratic Republic of the Congo for 17 years. For over a decade, she has been practicing therapeutic techniques based on Eastern traditions, supporting young people and adults in building their self-confidence and mental resilience. Currently, she combines educational knowledge with a holistic approach to development. When working with students, she focuses on an individual approach, caring not only for their academic progress but also for their emotional and mental well-being. Parents choose Nesh because she offers more than just teaching – she helps children develop and succeed both in school and in life.

Mentorka Nesh Brzeska
Mentorka Matylda Kajdrowicz

Matylda Kajdrowicz

A graduate of the American High School On-line at JDJ IOS, with experience in both on-line and intramural education. She currently studies International Communication at Hanze University in the Netherlands and collaborates with JDJ in the area of marketing. She is thoroughly familiar with the requirements of the American system, including the AP and SAT exams, which she herself took, achieving high scores. She supports students in the European university application process, exam registration as well as SAT and AP preparation.

Natalia Zięba

A graduate of the American High School Program at JDJ IOS, currently a student of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, majoring in management with a specialization in business, international relations and marketing. Her hobbies include sports – dancing, horse riding and tennis as well as artistic activities in the field of acting and directing. She provides part-time mentoring support to JDJ IOS students.

Mentorka Maja Kraśnicka

Maja Kraśnicka

Maja is a London-based educational mentor with extensive international experience. She is a graduate of Newcastle University (Chinese Language and Cultural Studies) and Leeds University Business School, where she completed a Master’s in Corporate Communications, Marketing and PR, receiving the prestigious Master’s in Marketing Global Scholarship. She gained mentoring experience at the University of Leeds and through the diversity and inclusion reverse mentoring program at Nest. Currently, she supports Polish students preparing to study abroad – from choosing a university and analyzing recruitment requirements to planning effective applications.

Karolina Silcer

Karolina is an educational mentor with a degree in Polish and English philology. She also holds an IELTS certificate and has completed British Council training. She has almost six years of experience and a background in running her own language school. She combines solid academic support with exceptional motivational and organizational skills. Helps students build confidence, stay focused, and effectively prepare for international education and future careers by offering personalized and supportive mentoring.
