The Polish–American Middle School Pathway program (Dual Pathway) is an innovative educational program based on the similar JDJ IOS program for high schools, named Dual Diploma.
The essence of the program is that the student does not have to choose one educational path, but follows a standard program in a Polish school in parallel and supplements it with subjects required in the American curriculum – all in a convenient, tailored formula. Depending on the chosen configuration, there are 2 courses per year in a three-year program or 3 courses per year in a two-year program.
Once completing the program, the graduate obtains a certificate of completion of a Middle School in Florida and a stronger recruitment position for secondary schools – presenting an additional American certificate is undoubtedly an additional advantage when admitted to the list of students.
To graduate from an American Middle School, it is sufficient to complete the courses that are not taught in a Polish elementary school, i.e. Language Arts (academic English) each year plus one subject per year from the area of Social Studies (e.g. Civics, U.S. History).
The program can be started at any time during the school year.
