Who are educational mentors?
JDJ IOS Educational Mentors accompany students at every stage of their studies – from planning their schedule, through monitoring their progress, to supporting them in choosing studies abroad. Their role is not limited to motivating and helping with learning; it also includes building an individual development path tailored to the student’s passions and goals.
The role of a JDJ Educational Mentor includes, among others:
- motivating students to complete the foreign high school program on-line,
- monitoring learning progress and providing feedback,
- verifying the timeliness and completeness of tasks performed (Assignments and Assessments),
- mediating in contacts with teachers and staff of a foreign school in the event of difficulties in understanding the issues discussed during lessons or other significant problems,
- support in creating a personalized schedule of classes and lessons to optimize the benefits of the on-line learning process at a foreign high school, including the selection of electives in line with the student’s future educational and professional plans,
- assistance in choosing foreign universities and in the application process.
